Computer Training

In today’s digital world, computer literacy is an increasingly important skill for further education, employment, and entrepreneurship. Unfortunately, most of our scholars do not have access to computers at home or at school, meaning they do not have the opportunity to develop strong computer skills.

As of 2015, CMETrust offers a three-month computer skills training program to all of our secondary school graduates, in partnership with KCITI. Over the three months, they learn about computer packages, how to use the internet, and typing skills, among other topics. Our graduates tell us that this course helps them enter post-secondary school on equal footing with their peers, and gives them new ideas for small businesses and employment.

The three-month course costs $90 per graduate. You can support our graduates by donating today.
